I’m not usually the New Year resolution type of guy. I figure if something, a goal, action or whatever comes up at any point during the year then why wait? Understandably a new year is helpful for some people to get their mind right.
Those that know me well know that I’m a huge fan of ESPN’s E:60, 30 for 30, HBO Real Sports and Showtime’s 60 Minutes Sports. These shows/movies are seriously one of my favorite things and I’ll tell anyone who will listen. I’m sucker for a good story I guess, especially sports related, and as I’ve discussed with a few members at Ambition (thanks Evan), sometimes these stories
will crush me and by that I mean make my cry, alone on my couch make me wanna rip some smelling salts and squat heavy.
Anyway, these stories run often but especially at the end of the year. I watched several during my Christmas vacation. Below are a few of my favorites from the past few years. None of them are short. They are all at least 10 minutes long but well worth the time investment in my opinion. What are you going to get out of it? I don’t know but maybe motivation for a better outlook on life and humanity in general. Could be the strength to take action and improve your own life or someone else’s. Or simply a reminder to tell someone you love them.
