Jackie Wu

A love of physical play led Jackie to an early sports career in high level competitive Taekwondo, and some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, amongst other bits and pieces of various sports.

In 2008, an ATV accident left her with a broken back, which led to take a therapy-oriented approach to strength and conditioning. Jackie does mostly one-on-one sessions combining movement training with various types of clinical therapy (injuries, imbalances, movement, etc).

Jackie is certified through the RKC system as a Hardstyle Kettlebell Certified coach, Functional Movement Systems, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Active Release Techniques (ART) Neurokinetic Therapy, Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR), and Cranial Therapy. She has experience with elderly and pre/during/post-pregnancy training, but specializes in athletes and injuries.

She is the head instructor for Taiwan and Hong Kong’s Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), which includes hundreds of medical doctors and physical therapists, along with several fitness instructors. She also leads the San Diego/Orange County area with ongoing training and Seminar instruction. When she is not in the States seeing clients or teaching NKT, she is traveling to learn from the best about strength, movement, physical rehabilitation, and other forms of therapy.
