A love of physical play led Jackie Wu to an early sports career in high-level competitive Taekwondo, and some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, amongst other bits and pieces of various sports.
In 2008, an ATV accident left her with a broken back, which led her to take a therapy-oriented approach to strength and conditioning. Jackie Wu does mostly one-on-one sessions combining movement training with various types of clinical therapy (injuries, imbalances, movement, etc). Her focus is to help people get out of pain and go from injury to performance, and everything in between.
Jackie Wu is currently a certified through Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC) and Progressive Calisthenics Certification (PCC) as an instructor, Functional Movement Systems, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Active Release Techniques (ART), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR), Amino Neurofrequency Therapy (ANF), Anatomy in Motion (AiM), Fascial Movement Taping (FMT/Rocktape), massage therapy, and Cranial Therapy.
